METHOD OF USAGE
SURFACE PREPERATION

Surface preparation is very vital in the application of SYSBOND 756.The substrate should be clean and free from dust, grease, oil, corrosion deposits or any other deleterious substances. All cement particles, laitance etc., has to be removed. For best results slightly wet the surface before the application of SYSBOND 756. Smooth surfaces must be mechanically roughened i.e by scrubbing or grit/sand blasting in order to get a mechanical key.

APPLICATION
AS A BONDING AGENT

SYSBOND 756 can be directly applied by a brush on to the substrate. The bonding agent shall provide adequate bond strength when directly applied on Concrete and also mixed with neat cement. The coverage is about 6 – 8 Sq. mtrs / Litre depending upon the substrate.
SYSBOND 756 can be mixed with cement sand slurry and applied by brush as a bonding agent. The mixture is as follows: Cement: Sand : SYSBOND 756 : Water:: 50Kg:50Kg:10 Litre:20Litre. Water can be altered depending upon the sand and Temperatures.
SYSBOND 756 can also be used for making Polymer modified Cementitious mortars.

AS A MORTAR MODIFIER

Mortars can be made using SYSBOND 756 by mixing the ingredients in the following proportions

Cement :Sand :SYSBOND 756 :Water
50 Kg :150 Kg :10 Litre :5 Litre

Mixing should be done thoroughly by a mechanical mixer and water has to be kept as minimum as possible.

CLEANING:

Wash all the tools immediately after the use.

STANDARDS:

Tested as perASTM 109, BS 6319 for Tensile, Flexural and Compressive Strengths.

PRECAUTIONS:

SYSBOND 756 is Non-toxic, Non — flammable. Avoid contact with skin. If it splashes on to eyes they have to be immediately washed with water and medical advice has to be taken.

SHELF LIFE:

12 Months in unopened packs if kept in dry condition

Over Coating time:6 – 9 Hours.
Compressive Strength:51 N/mm2.
Flexural Strength:35 N/mm2.
Tensile Strength:20 N/mm2.
Shear Strength:25 N/mm2.
AREAS OF APPLICATION

Bonding Old Concrete to New Concrete. Ideal for repair or Exdended Structural Concrete in factories, Loading bays, Bridges, roads, bonded or Granolithic floor Toppings etc.

METHOD OF USAGE
SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface has to be clean from dust, Grease or Oil. Use SYSCONS range of Cleaning agents. After removing dust with water don’t allow water to collect on the surface where SYSBOND 757 has to be applied.

MIXING & APPLICATION

The Hardener part has to be totally poured in to the Base container. The two parts have to be thoroughly mixed with a low speed mixer (300 to 400 rpm) for about 2 to 3 minutes. Mixing has to be done until a uniform colour is obtained. Mixed material should be applied by brush on the well -prepared surface. Concrete has to be placed on SYSBOND 757 within 6 to 8 Hours.

COVERAGE

The Coverage of the Material is 2.2 Sq. Mtrs per Kg depending on the substrate.

SUPPLY:

1 Kg, 2.5 Kg, 5 kg, 20 kg & 200 kg Pack.

SHELF LIFE:

12 Months if Stored below 35 Degrees Centigrade.

PRECAUTIONS

SYSBOND 757 should not come in contact with skin. Usually this is done by using gloves. Splashes on to the skin have to be immediately washed with soap and water. Splashes on to the eyes have to be immediately washed with plenty of water and Medical advice has to be taken.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

Cementitious based materials have limited chemical resistance. The addition of SYSBOND 758, Mortar modifier to cement mortars reduces permeability and therefore helps in reducing the rate of attack by aggressive chemical.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SURFACE PREPARATION

Substrates which has to be treated, should be clean from dust, loose plaster, oil, paint ,grease, corrosion deposits or any other deleterious substance. Laitance should be mechanically removed e g. by scrubbling, sand or grit blasting to provide adequate mechanical key.

COATING:

Reinforcing steel should be primed with zinc rich epoxy primer immediately after cleaning. The concrete substrate should be thoroughly cleaned with water and any excess has to be removed before being coated, by thoroughly scrubbing in a slurry coat (1:1:3) i.e. 1 volume SYSBOND 758, mortar modifier to 1 volume water to 3 volumes fresh cement.

In order to obtain a smooth consistency the cement should be blended slowly in to the polymer. Frequent stirring to avoid settlement is suggested.

COVERAGE:

SYSBOND 758 would give a Coverage of approximately 4— 5m 2/Kg depending on substrate porosity.

SHELF LIFE:

SYSBOND 758 has a shelf life of 12 months if kept in a dry store in unopened condition.

CLEANING:

Wash all the tools immediately after the use.

PRECAUTIONS:

SYSBOND 758 is Non-toxic, Non — flammable. Avoid contact with skin. If it splashes on to the eyes they have to be immediately washed with water and medical advice to be taken.
